We are Bill and Gloria Carpenter and we have been in central Ohio for many years but seven years ago we decided to move to the country and into the woods to build our dream home. When we built our house many trees were brought down, so we had them stacked for the future.
Three years later we built a pole barn and started on the wood shop journey.
Next was building a wood mill so we could utilize the stack of logs. We have milled and stacked our local wood of Maple, Poplar, Cherry, Shagbark Hickory, Pignut Hickory, Beech, Ash and Walnut.
After the logs are made into boards and stacked, we monitor the moisture content. When the moisture gets low enough to safely use, we move them to the wood shop. We started creating different products such as cutting boards, charcuterie boards, beer, wine, shot and bourbon flights, live edge table tops, lazy susans, bread boards, and cheese boards to name just a few.
Now we are selling custom wood products in our online store and the local farmers markets around central Ohio. You can even find our products at shops such as Farm Charm in Bellefontaine, Union Station in Marysville and Plumm Home in Marysville.
We have a laser engraver for adding signs and personalized items to our product line.
We love the fact that people have been raving about these products and give us ideas every day for new and better creations!
